Rude People on Etsy

Well, I had my first bad experience with Etsy last night. I was in a chat room and someone featured my Hello Kitty Ring. I was pretty happy that someone liked it as much as I did. But, then someone changed the room title too "Hello Kitty isn't Handmade." Well first off, In my item description it never stated that the Hello Kitty Cabochon was 'Handmade.' I felt so disrespected that someone would even do that. Considering everyone in the chat room were Etsy Sellers.


Why must people be so rude to someone? Let alone, go and do it behind a room title. If they would've contacted me personally through the chat room or through a convo - I wouldn't have felt this way.

Flower Filigree Rings

I've been working on making some flower filigree rings. I love how they turned out. Their so Spring like with the bright colors :) I have Blue, Lavender, Purple and Coral. These rings are so classy and elegant.

Cookie Ring? What

I had this cookie cabochon just sitting around, I had no idea what to do with it. Yesterday, I was thinking maybe I could turn this into a ring? Some cookie lover out there would LOVE it, lol. Well here it is everyone - the Cookie Ring. I will post it on my Etsy shop sometime this week.

Necklaces

I am finally making necklaces! I am so excited to bring my customers more products to choose from. The First Pendant is a Antique Bronze Wings with a Heart-shaped Ruby. The second Pendant is a Antique Bronze Owl with jump rings connecting the body. These will be on my Etsy Shop when I get my Jewelry pliers and more jump rings :)

I opened my Etsy Shop :) I am very proud of myself. I haven't sold anything on there as of right now. But only time will tell if it is a success. I am very confident in the stuff I make. I have a total of 18 items on there right now from Earrings to Rings. I am hoping to start marking necklaces very soon.

Jewelry Making

One day I was just searching on the internet and I came across Cabochons. I immediately fell in love. So many ideas popped up into my head and I just had to find a place in the US that sold them. I got on Etsy, and found a few sellers in America that sold these items. I ordered a lot of cabochons. When they got here, I started making earrings and rings because those are simple to make.  For now I am going to sell to friends and family members. If I get a lot of sales then I am going to make a website and sell everything online.
